Welcome to bioshawna: Curated Finds, Honest Reviews, Creator Tips & Real-Life Entries

Soft pastel desk flat lay with an open journal, laptop, beauty items, flowers, coffee, and warm light for the bioshawna welcome post.

Hello.

I’m Shawna, also known as bioshawna, and this space will be my honest record of the things that actually help me get through the days.

I’ve always been drawn to the little details: the product that becomes part of a comforting routine, the app that makes the day feel less chaotic, the piece of art or design that makes me pause for a second, the tool that helps me create when my brain feels scattered, and the tiny moments that remind me I’m still becoming.

This blog is my way of gathering those things in one place.

What this space is for

Here you’ll find reviews of products and services I reach for again and again, beauty rituals that calm my nervous system, and conversations about the tech and AI tools that make my scattered brain feel a little less chaotic.

You can expect random thoughts, late-night reflections, art and design shares, creator tips and tricks, product and service reviews, and tiny observations that don’t fit neatly anywhere else.

Some posts may be practical, like a review of a skincare product, a creator tool, an AI app, a website resource, or something I’ve personally tested. Other posts may be softer and more reflective, more like a journal entry from the middle of real life. I want this space to have room for both: the useful and the emotional, the polished and the unfinished, the helpful guide and the honest note.

I’ll also write about the tools and platforms I’m learning from along the way, from WordPress to creative AI tools such as Elevenlabs and anything else that helps make online life feel a little less overwhelming.

Why I’m starting here

I wanted bioshawna to feel less like a perfectly packaged corner of the internet and more like a place where real life is allowed to show up. I love beautiful things, useful tools, art and design, thoughtful products, and the routines that make the day feel softer, but I also know life rarely looks as polished as it does online.

This space is my way of keeping track of what genuinely helps, what feels worth sharing, and what I’m learning as I build and develop.

I’m interested in the overlap between beauty, lifestyle, technology, creativity, and emotional survival. That might sound like a strange mix at first, but to me, it makes sense. Sometimes it’s a helpful app, a creative tool, a quiet routine, or one small detail that makes the day feel less heavy.

That’s the kind of thing I want to write about here.

Honest reviews, not perfect reviews

When I share product reviews or service reviews, my goal is not to make everything sound magical or life-changing, nor is it to create hype around something basic. I want to be honest about what I like, what I don’t, what feels worth the money, and what might only work for certain groups of people.

I’m not interested in pretending every product is a must-have. I’d rather tell the truth in a way that’s still thoughtful, useful, and fair. Some things will be favorites. Some things will be fine but not essential. Some things may not be for me at all.

That honesty matters to me because I want bioshawna to become a space people can genuinely trust.

What I hope this becomes

My hope is that bioshawna becomes a trustworthy space for curated finds, honest reviews, beauty and lifestyle recommendations, creator tips, tech and AI tools, and reflections that feel human instead of overly curated.

I want to share what I actually use, what I’m still figuring out, and what I wish someone had explained to me sooner. I want this space to be helpful for people who are building something online, looking for products that feel worth trying, exploring creative tools, or simply trying to make everyday life feel a little more manageable.

If you’re here for genuine recommendations, useful resources, design inspiration, blogging notes, quiet reflections, creator tips, or just a softer kind of internet space, I’m really glad you found your way here.

I hope bioshawna becomes a place you can return to when you want something honest, useful, and a little softer than the usual internet noise.

It won’t always be polished. It won’t always be productive, but, it will be real.

If you’re also somewhere in the middle of your own becoming — still soft in some places, stronger in others, while trying to figure out who you’re supposed to be — I hope you’ll stay a while.

You can also subscribe to get instant email notifications whenever future posts go live on the site.

Thank you for being here with me.
